Our free English as a Second Language (ESL) Adult class convenes every Sunday from 1:00pm to 3:00pm at the Chinese Presbyterian Church of Oakland, located at 265 8th Street, Oakland, CA 94607. We focus on daily conversation, elementary grammar, simple words, and sentence construction. We want to help new or older immigrants to understand simple English and be able to communicate with non-Chinese-speaking persons in their everyday lives.
本堂免費的成人英語（ESL）課程，每逢星期日下午1:00至3:00於本堂屋崙會址（265 8th Street, Oakland, CA 94607）舉行。課程內容著重於日常會話、基礎文法、常用詞彙及簡單句子結構。我們盼望幫助新、舊移民掌握基本英語，能夠在日常生活中理解簡單英文，並與非華語人士進行基本溝通。
The only times we don’t have class are during major holidays, and those breaks will be announced when they happen.
